Arnyis Woodberry specializes in trauma-informed care and supporting individuals and families through healing and growth.

Arnyis Woodberry is a seasoned clinician who has served children and families for over 20 years in the District of Columbia. Her portrayal of family life is exemplified through her work with children and families and has always been committed to working with this population. Ms. Woodberry counts it a joy to provide this training model to colleagues and to provide the service to children and families.

Ms. Woodberry has experience working with behavioral concerns, attachment concerns, changing family dynamics, adoption, trauma, grief, depressive symptoms, and anxiety symptoms. She works alongside families to develop a path forward and focuses on supporting families with children 2-7 as well as offer parenting support for all ages.

Education

Ms. Woodberry earned her BSW degree from Norfolk State University, School of Social Work in 1995 and MSW Degree from Howard University School of Social Work in 1999.

Ms. Woodberry became a Certified PCIT Clinician in 2013 and a PCIT Level 1 trainer for the District of Columbia in 2014. As a Level 1 trainer, Ms. Woodberry provides ongoing supervision and training to clinicians providing PCIT to families in the District of Columbia.

Affiliations

Ms. Woodberry is affiliated with the PIECE program with the Department of Behavioral Health where she offers specialized therapy for young children 0-7 yrs old, with their parents.
